We are seeking full-time Associates to join our multi-doctor, multi-location organization.  We are focused on providing quality, compassionate and personalized care to help our patients enjoy long, healthy, full lives with their family members.

With a focus on personalized care, it is imperative for our veterinarians to have strong communication and interpersonal skills to partner with our clients in the care of their pets.  These skills are also necessary to succeed in our team-oriented environment.

Our veterinarians encounter a diverse medical and surgical caseload and therefore strong diagnostic, internal medicine and surgical skills are necessary for this position.   Our fully equipped facilities allow veterinarians to practice advanced medicine with amenities such as, but not limited to: ultrasound, therapy laser, endoscopy, laparoscopy, surgical laser, digital radiology, intraoral digital radiology, and in house laboratory equipment.  One of our most important amenities we offer our veterinarians is a compassionate, highly skilled veterinary care team to support them in their pursuit of excellence.

We are conveniently located within minutes of the Virginia Beach resort area and a short drive from the Outer Banks of North Carolina.  The area has activities for outdoor enthusiasts, cultural pursuits, sports fans, and continues to grow with various offerings.

Location

Hope Springs Veterinary proudly serves the Hampton Roads area. With two locations in Virginia Beach, and our third in Chesapeake, Virginia, we have gotten to experience all the Coastal Virginia area has to offer. From numerous outdoor activities to the boardwalk in Virginia Beach, exploring the first U.S. settlement in Jamestown to walking along the shores to see lighthouses, here in the coastal Virginia area there is something for everyone!

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required

  • Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Virginia

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience preferred

  • Routine surgical and dental experience required

  • Experience working with ultrasound preferred

  • Highly motivated, with a desire to lead our amazing team

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated compassion for patients and clients

  • Ability to collaborate and work within a team environment
